30Boxes.com really rocks

I was very eagerly waiting for the public beta of 30Boxes.com. They launched a public beta on Feb 5. Immediately I signed up and from the moment I logged on, I knew this was something different. The thing that struck me first was the way they had organized the calender. No ads, no silly quotes nothing like that. There were 28 big boxes occupying my screen making it very easy to read and remember stuff. The 2nd thing was that how easy it was to add an appointment and task. No complex settings, no bookmarks, nothing like that. They have made a calender the way it should be. Also, I loved the idea of adding a task through the text box on top. Though one might take 1 or 2 tries to get the format right, once I got the hang of it, it was amazing. Also was the idea of bookmarks. Most sites have bookmarks making it easy for users to search and organize. The difference here was that whenever I added a bookmark I could so easily search for an item. It was like in an instant.The idea of changing themes is a good one but the current themes are not very flattering. Since they offer an API, I guess it wont be long before we see a plethora of them. All in all I loved 30Boxes and hope it stays the way it is right now. I still have to test out the whole damn thing but it sure looks good.
